Today I went to see Marthe. Marthe is probably the most famous lady of Ecoust St Mein, a village next to mine in the north of France. She's 97 years old, and not long ago she was still digging her garden, making the finest embroideries and even now she still remembers all her plants' latin names.
Her house interior had already been spotted by my sister some time ago, but I thought since I happened to be there with my camera I should take pictures and share them with you. Marthe thinks her house is messy and not worth people seeing it, so when I told her I wanted to take pictures of it, she got a little nervous. So I rushed a little... But I'll definitely go back for nicer portraits!
