We are in Montparnasse, heart of the artistic life during the first half of the 20th century. It is also where Tessa lives.The duplex used to be Tessa's great grandmother's workshop. Like many other painters at that time, Elisabeth de la Mauvinière lived in that neighbourhood, nearby the Art Deco cafes "Le Dôme" and "La Coupole".Tessa is attached to this place but she says it's quite difficult to furnish such spaces - look at the giant bicycle shed below! And Tessa, even though she evolves in luxury worlds, doesn't have expensive tastes. So she's going to move out to a little cosy flat soon. Warm just like herself.All photos by Clarisse Demory.
