i very, very much like the idea of working with multiple layers of translucent fabrics of different patterns.i've always liked superimposing things.this idea is worth experimenting with, i think.you can, say, put a striped or dotted top underneath a translucent, floral or checkered top or shirt.I do that sometimes... i sometimes put on sheer layers of differently striped things.
some of these beautiful ties above contain as much as five layers of fabric.they are just beautiful! and they are handworked.
