I came across a book in Guatemala about Luis Barragan and am so incredibly inspired by his work. I can't think of any style of architecture that I would prefer than his wonderful Mexican Modernist style. He was influenced by architecture in Northern Africa, the Mediterranean, and lectures by Le Corbusier that he attended while living in Paris. This pretty much seals the deal that a trip to Mexico City is in my near future!
