Rainbow Doodle

International search engine Google has created a logo, timed to coincide with the beginning of the Winter Olympics in rainbow colors. "Rainbow Doodle" was published online on February 7, the opening day of the Olympic Games in Sochi.

Illustration depicting various winter sports background six colors of the rainbow appears in the center of the page when approaching the site or search engine in the upper left corner.

Illustration is also accompanied by a quote from an article by the Olympic Charter — a set of basic principles of the International Olympic Committee — declaring the human rights. Six-color rainbow flag is a symbol of the movement to protect the rights of sexual minorities. On the eve of the Olympics, February 6, UN Secretary General urged to respect this principle of the Olympic Charter and stop the discrimination against sexual minorities.
