Insides: J.B. Blunk Part 1

Below are some photos of the late artist J.B. Blunk's home and studio in Inverness, California. J.B designed and built the house himself in the late 50's and lived there until he passed away in 2002. Six years after his death Blunk's daughter, Mariah Neilson , converted his home into a residency for artists. Mariah directed the residency program from 2008-2011 hosting four cycles of artists every year: two months in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Most of the photos below were taken during the J.B.
